Experiential Book Series

This is not your typical book discussion — we do things a little differently. Today is all about curiosity, fun, and a little bit of self-discovery through the lens of color auras… yes, color auras!

Think of it as personality meets intuition meets “Oh wow… that really is me!”

We’re using the book What’s My Aura? by Mystic Michaela, and whether you’ve walked in with zero idea what an aura is… you’re in the perfect place. This is an interactive experience, not a test. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable.

My hope with every Experiential Book Series session is that you leave with a more profound sense of who you are — not in a heavy way, but in an empowering way. Your aura color is simply a lens, but one that can reveal patterns, strengths, communication styles, and insights that many people find truly resonant.

Thank you for being here and for showing up with openness. Let’s explore your color, your energy, and maybe even your superpower.

Join us on Facebook for new content and event announcements.

Our following book review will be The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins.

PRESS RELEASE

Title: Local Author Launches The Experiential Book Series to Bring Insight and Connection to St. Johns and Duval County

In a world that moves quickly, many people are searching for meaningful conversation — the kind that makes you pause, reflect, and walk away a little lighter, wiser, or inspired. That desire for deeper connection is what inspired me to launch The Experiential Book Series, a community-based program now taking place in the St. Johns County and Ponte Vedra area.

Unlike a traditional book club, The Experiential Book Series blends group discussion, guided reflection, hands-on activities, and personal insight. Each session focuses on a book that helps participants understand themselves, their relationships, and their place in the world in a new and meaningful way.

As we look ahead to the upcoming season, we will be exploring two books that offer fresh perspectives on personal growth and emotional well-being.

Exploring Your Energy Field with What’s My Aura? by Mystic Michaela

Our first book introduces a concept that fascinates many — the idea that each of us has a unique energy field that influences our communication style, emotional tendencies, and daily interactions. While the original book uses the language of “aura colors,” our sessions present the material in a grounded, educational way that anyone can understand.

Participants learn about nine color energies that represent patterns such as:

  • How they communicate

  • What environments support them

  • What drains their energy

  • Factors influencing the ease or complexity of interpersonal relationships

People often leave this session with a new appreciation for themselves and a deeper understanding of those around them.

Finding Peace Through The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins

The second book explores one of the most freeing ideas in personal development: letting people be who they are. Mel Robbins’ “Let Them Theory” reminds us that we cannot control how others behave — but we can control how we respond.

In this workshop, we discuss:

  • How to stop overthinking other people’s reactions

  • Why releasing control improves relationships

  • Ways to protect your peace during stressful situations

  • What it means to allow life to unfold naturally

Together, these two books offer a powerful combination: one helps you understand yourself, and the other helps you let go of what doesn’t serve you.

A Community Space for Everyone

The Experiential Book Series is open to adults of all ages and backgrounds. Sessions take place in local community spaces, residential neighborhoods, wellness centers, and other gathering places around St. Johns County.

People often describe the experience as:
“Grounding.”
“Refreshing.”
“Exactly what I needed.”

Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time resident, the program offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and leave with tools that make everyday life a little easier.
